My Boss Smells!!

What do you do when your boss smells like stale beer, old cigarettes and questionable personal hygiene. It wouldn't be so bad if we didn't have to liaise so frequently. He is so comfortable with me that he on occasion reaches over my shoulder to point out various things, which I never remember because I am trying so hard not to gag.

It really is that bad. I am so tired of it. I am surprised it is not a topic of discussion as he is quite hands on and I am sure I am not the only one who has an issue this.

The guy is really nice, mid forties, not bad looking and married!!! I would never let my enemy leave the house smelling like that, let alone my husband.

I know I can't say anything but I am dying from these different aromas that by boss has deemed me worthy of sharing!!

Have you heard of the HR department bringing in an etiquette consultant to give a refresher course on dressing for success, grooming and personal hygiene?
Most people need to be reminded, or they have just never been taught. I say you and your co-workers pay an anonymous 3rd party to call your boss smelly and see if he buys some deodorant.

lol...I would have suggested a perfume as a gift but mixed with stale beer, old cigarettes and questionable personal hygiene, it might not be such a hot idea....

lol! Oh what a predicament. Eyah sorry. I have no idea what to suggest. Please don't do what Aunty Catwalq suggested oh, lol! he might not take it too well, leading to some problems. The anonymous letter could possibly work but would embarrass him greatly.

Best of luck, regardless.

hahahaha...lol at the smelly boss...

i know some people have to work extra hard to keep their freshness during the day...had this one guy who i was talking to at a time that nearly killed me with his body odor. one day in the dead of winter when i was in his car..his BO was so bad...i had to brave the elements from outside and tell him i had to wind down the window because i needed some fresh air due to the party we were coming back from....twas disgusting...lol

I think you should brave it and tell the guy the truth...depending on the kinda person he is...he will either love you forever or hate u and get u fired...
